'Breaking Sun over Dublin Bay'

This is my new watercolour series for the new year. (I've written a few lines on my blog page about this painting in more detail). I'm experimenting with new idea's lately. This is a great location i love to paint. Here from Seapoint, Co. Dublin is the setting. It's when the tide was well out this particular day, and gave me the chance to get out and take some photos. The Irish Ferries ship was approaching Dublin, so i thought it would make for a great painting. The 'Breaking Sun' makes for a colourful and uplifting approach.
