Cabinteely Park. Co. Dublin is the setting for this watercolour. This is a change from my usual painting scenes. Normally i paint marine and boats, etc. What attracted me to paint this scene was the normal mundane of everyday life in a park: The couple sitting down on the bench, the girl bending over giving a command to her dog. The little things most people probably wouldn't see. Of course the sunlight and 'dappled shadows' are the key feature - the name of the painting.
