'Gannets near Ireland's Eye'
What i liked about this painting was the sky, and not the Island, per-sey. The gannets were obviously a subject of interest. Placing them, i tried to be more specific; i wanted them to stand out also against the dark sea. These birds are HUGE- two metres from wing span to wing span!! The Island was not in the centre, so it wasn't of real signifigence, sort of out of focus to bring the viewers attention to the birds and soft sky.
