'Scotsman's Bay in choppy waters'
€300.00Price
This is a familar scene to most Dubliners. It's a truly stunning corner of the Dun Laoghaire coastline. Bathers come here any time of year to swim. The '40ft' been the noted area just behind the houses in the painting.
The day i was going by here i remembered it been gloomy and very, very cold. However it was the colours of the foliage that pulled me in to paint it. The browns and grey tones in the scrub in front of the houses is all that triggered my imagination. I simply love overcast days, it seems to show the 'real' colours of nature.
